Virginia Cancer Institute has opened offices in Petersburg and Hopewell. These additions bring the practice’s total number of facilities to seven in Central Virginia, including those in the counties of Chesterfield, Hanover and Henrico.
The Petersburg practice is located at the recently opened cancer treatment facility at Bon Secour @ Southside Medical Center. The Hopewell practice is located at John Randolph Medical Center.
Dr. Mitchell Machado primarily will see patients in Petersburg. Doctors Yogesh K. Gandhi and Shobha R. Nalluri mainly will see patients in Hopewell with rotations to Petersburg.
“Virginia Cancer Institute is pleased to expand its practice into Petersburg and Hopewell. This provides us the opportunity to deliver quality care in the Tri-Cities area. These offices will allow area residents to get quality cancer care without travelling to Richmond. We are delighted to have Doctors Mitchell Machado, Yogesh K. Gandhi and Shobha R. The Petersburg office is in the new 32,500-square-foot Southside Regional Medical Arts Pavilion adjacent to the Bon Secour @ Southside Medical Center. The state-of-the-art facility opened in November. It is designed to meet the growing needs of the local community.
