Once again, Virginia Cancer Institute physicians have been recognized as the best by Richmond Magazine’s Top Docs survey, with three of the practice’s doctors listed among the top five in their field. Dr. David F. Trent, Dr. Lawrence M. Lewkow and Dr. Elke K. Friedman were voted as winners this year, and Dr. Trent received the most votes of all physicians in the oncology category.
Richmond Magazine’s Top Doctors are the result of a survey of local physicians who are asked to recommend their peers in 90 categories. This year, 719 physicians participated in the survey. Drs. Trent, Lewkow and Friedman were also recognized as Top Docs in 2013.
