Virginia Cancer Institute (VCI) is proud to welcome Dr. Choudhary to our team of nationally known hematologists and oncologists. He joined the VCI staff after completing a fellowship in hematology-oncology at Case Western Reserve University. Dr. Choudhary began his education at the Armed Forces Medical College at Pune University in Pune, India, graduating with a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery in 1992. Dr. Choudhary is proud to have had the honor of serving veterans and active-duty troops during his training. After nearly a decade working and training in New Delhi, Dr. Choudhary relocated to the United States to complete his residency in internal medicine at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio, in 2012.
He is a member of the American Society of Hematology, the American Society of Oncology, the American Society of Blood and Marrow Transplant, the American Association for Cancer Research, and the American College of Physicians.
Virginia Cancer Institute marked its 30th anniversary of serving patients and their families in 2012. The practice includes 21 physicians who are experts in medical oncology, hematology, and clinical research.
