Once again, Virginia Cancer Institute physicians have been recognized as the best by Richmond Magazine’s Top Docs survey, with four of the practice’s doctors listed among the top five in their field. Dr. David F. Trent, Dr. Lawrence M. Lewkow, Dr. Elke K. Friedman, and Dr. Pablo M. Gonzalez were voted as winners this year, and Dr. Trent received the most votes of all physicians in the oncology category for the second year in a row.
Drs. Trent, Lewkow and Friedman were also recognized as Top Docs in 2012 and 2013.
“We’re honored that we’ve been listed among the best by our peers,” stated Dr. Trent. “My colleagues and I will continue to earn this distinction every day, for the sake of our patients.”
