Four doctors associated with Virginia Cancer Institute have been recognized as “Top Docs” by Richmond Magazine, appearing on its 2013 list of peer-endorsed “Top Docs.”
For Richmond Magazine’s 2013 Top Doctors survey, local physicians were asked whom they would recommend in 82 categories. Richmond Magazine sent letters to 3,967 doctors, alerting them to their online survey. From that list of current licensed practitioners obtained from the Virginia Department of Health Professions, 543 responded to the survey, for a response rate of 13.7 percent.
Four of the top five vote-getters in the category of Oncology and Hematology are VCI Physicians. Among those listed, the top vote-getter in this category is David F. Trent, MD.
