Dr. Ghulam Dastgir Qureshi has joined the staff of Virginia Cancer Institute. He formerly was in private practice at West End Hematology and Medical Oncology Group.“Everyone at Virginia Cancer Institute is delighted to have Dr. Ghulam Qureshi merge his practice with ours. Dr. Qureshi is a well-known and well-respected member of the Richmond medical community. Dr. Qureshi is board certified in Internal Medicine and Hematology. He is a graduate of King Edward Medical College in Lahore, Pakistan. Dr. Qureshi completed an internship at Johnston Willis Hospital and a residency in Internal Medicine at the Medical College of Virginia. He also completed a Hematology fellowship at MCV and a Medicine/Hematology fellowship at Columbia University’s College of Physicians and Surgeons in New York. He served as a professor of medicine at MCV from 1974 to 1988.
“I decided to join the Virginia Cancer Institute because of its reputation and because its resources can help me care for my patients.
