Nurse practitioner Cristina Nataniel-Jones brings years of experience as a clinical nurse to Virginia Cancer Institute. Her passion for quality care and her enthusiasm for working with patients translates into impeccable service. Her diverse training through the nurse practitioner program at Virginia Commonwealth University has given her a strong foundation to provide education, counseling, and care to patients at any stage of their cancer treatment.
Cristina graduated from VCU’s nurse practitioner program in 2018. In this intensive program, she obtained a broad range of experiences while working at the VCU Nelson Clinic for Women’s Health, the Henrico County Jail, and APEX-MD Family Practice. She also spent most of her nursing career caring for patients on the Cellular Immunotherapeutics and Transplantation Unit at VCU Massey Cancer Center. Her practice has always been patient-focused and has stressed a multidisciplinary approach to healthcare and wellness.
Working at Virginia Cancer Institute has only reinforced Cristina’s dedication to providing exceptional care to every patient who walks through the doors. Her positive attitude, sympathetic nature, and attentive mind are the indispensable assets VCI relies on in order to be a leading provider of cancer care.
When not in the office, Cristina enjoys spending time with her husband, family, and friends. She also loves traveling, watching movies, and creating terrariums.
