As a board-certified hematology oncologist with three years of post-fellowship experience, Dr. Nathan Langer has the tools to help his patients through treatment every step of the way. Dr. Langer is dedicated to providing his patients with compassionate care using a patient-centered approach to medicine. He offers his patients long-term care plans that ensure stability in what can often be a tumultuous time.
Dr. Langer received his medical degree from the Indiana University School of Medicine and became an Internal Medicine resident at the Cleveland Medical Center shortly thereafter. He spent many years at the Cleveland Medical Center as a resident, hospitalist, and then a fellow. He later joined the staff at Memorial Hospital in Martinsville, VA, as a hematology oncologist. He has a special clinical interest in benign hematology. Dr. Langer’s varied experiences in practice and research make him uniquely equipped to provide his patients with a well-rounded, longitudinal care plan tailored to their needs.
On his days away from the office, Dr. Langer enjoys running, biking, going to the gym, and spending time with family.
