Pamela's Patient Care Philosophy
I believe in a holistic approach. Cancer is a family affair and patients are dealing with more than just their disease.~
What Patients say about Pamela
Pam has helped me through some of the most difficult times during my treatment. Some people are born to help others - I think Pam is one of them.~
Pam Miller, ANP, AOCNP, received her BS in Nursing from the College of St. Catherine in St. Paul, Minnesota, before earning her MS in Nursing from the Medical College of Virginia School of Nursing at Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, in 2002.
Pam has served patients for over 45 years at hospitals in Florida, Minnesota, Arizona, and here in Virginia. She has been on staff as an Adult Nurse Practitioner with Virginia Cancer Institute since 2003.
Pam has been certified by the Oncology Nursing Certification Corporation, the American Nurses Credentialing Center, the Oncology Nursing Society, and the Oncology Nursing Certification Corporation and is a member of the Oncology Nursing Society, American Cancer Society, and the Virginia Council of Nurse Practitioners.
She has three daughters, three stepsons, and five grandchildren whom she loves to spoil. When not working, she is involved as president of her homeowners’ association and other volunteer activities. She loves to travel, read, play cards, and do anything fun—especially with family.
