Anila Abraham, RN, NP-C
Patient Care Philosophy:
My philosophy is to provide compassionate and culturally competent care to my patients.
An experienced registered nurse and recent graduate with a MS in nursing, Anila Abraham’s goal as a nurse practitioner is to focus not only on treating a patient’s disease, but personalizing care for the needs and concerns of each individual with empathy and patience.
Anila completed her BS in Nursing with honors at Texas Woman’s University in Dallas before going on to earn her MS in Nursing from Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond. Throughout her career, she has provided comprehensive and compassionate care to patients at various hospitals and health systems throughout Virginia and Texas. Most recently, Anila worked as an RN in the Digestive Health Unit at Virginia Commonwealth University Health System (VCUHS).
Anila has received several honors and awards including the Daisy Award, Digestive Health Unit, VCUHS and the RN Exemplary Practice Award, Digestive Health Unit, VCUHS.
When she is not working, Anila enjoys spending her time bonding with her twin girls and cooking.
